In most cases, the price for a written second opinion is €349. For complex or interdisciplinary cases, the cost may be higher — however, we always inform the patient in advance.
There are no hidden fees — the price is fixed and all-inclusive.

Typically, your written second opinion is ready within seven business days after we receive all necessary documents.
If the selected specialist has a high workload, it may take a few extra days — in that case, we’ll notify you right away.

To receive a professional second medical opinion from a German doctor, simply follow these steps:

1. Register on the AskGermanDoc platform.

2. Select a doctor from the list — or contact us to help you find the most suitable specialist.

3. On the doctor’s profile page, choose the type of consultation:
   – Written Second Opinion, or
   – Written Opinion + Video Consultation.

4. Complete the short medical questionnaire with details about your health and diagnosis.

5. Upload your medical documents — discharge reports, test results, imaging, etc.

6. Pay for the service, after which we begin processing your case immediately.

If you experience any issues with registration or uploading documents, our support team will assist you step by step.

No, you don’t need to translate anything yourself. You can upload your documents in English or Russian, and we will translate them into German — this service is included in the price.

After receiving your written second opinion, you can schedule a video consultation with the same German doctor.
During the online meeting, you can discuss your diagnosis, treatment options, and next steps. A professional medical interpreter will join the call to provide real-time translation, ensuring full understanding on both sides.
